FAST FACTS:

  • Immersive audio effects, including a computer-based wingman voice that responds to pilot's flight performance.

            

       Mission:Satellite Rendezvous; Hubble Space Telescope Movie (9.05 MB)

SHOW SEQUENCES:

  • Attract Sequence - continuous loop of graphics and audio; calls visitors' attention to the exhibit. Guest moves joystick to start the show. (Note: The customer logo can be integrated into the Attract Sequence graphics.)

  • Mission Briefing - led by computer-based "Pete," this audio-visual briefing describes the capture mission and instructs the pilot on how to use the Maneuvering Unit controls.

  • Flight Sequence - the guest's hands-on grapple attempt.

  • Wrap-up Sequence - "Pete" delivers a light-hearted assessment of the results of the grapple attempt, scoring it as either a Gold, Silver, or Bronze performance and comparing it to the day's best flight. The show then returns to the Attract sequence.
