Gyroscope
Trainer
“Houston, we're in control of the
problem!" Guests find out just what it is like to be in an
out-of-control spacecraft. The goal: to keep from being
disoriented in order to regain control of your spacecraft.
Astronauts used a multiple-axis trainer
called MASTIF that put their capsule spacecraft into a spin.
They had to maintain their orientation in order to regain
control and put their spacecraft back onto its proper flight
path.
Guests use their center of gravity and
weight distribution to alter movement of the multiple-axis rings in this fun and exhilarating 3-5 minute
experience. This not-to-be-missed trainer, not only simulates
the MASTIF, but also let's guests feel the gravitational effects
of being inside of a gyroscope. Adult and Child versions
available.
